Happy Souls

5 more pages to "go", but I couldn't wait to finish the chapter...to typ my next blog... "so" I started with no hesitation..

No, I am going to start with the bees, buffer flies and all trees wonderful, but what I am going to tell you is that  everyone has a different story to tell about their lives, but being part of their lives for that moment, can mean something great and wonderful to them.

In my day to day events of life, we walk, talk and see different people from different walks of life..., Some we may see again, some we may never see at all... After all that"s" what life is about anyway, people come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

Recently, I compared a Hindu function, and funny enough just like every function you got to run behind schedule, non the less I have had the privilege to entertain a marquee filled with happy, ready to have the daughter engaged.

No matter how many times i have stood in front of a room fulled of people, the nervousness always kicks in a little.. Because never really know the typ, of crowed you about to entertain. So, I get to the front of the stage all dressed in a Sarie, Indian attire,

On a nervous welcome, with smiles overlooking at me... I knew in an instant this is going to be a mixed kinda crowd... As I proceeded with the afternoon formalities, there had been smiles all over the room.... which then it led to laughter ... dance ... and a bit of tears as well.. ..

When two families unit to become one, it's brought about by two souls connecting and completing the cycle of life, generation after generation...
It is usually said , "small world" when meeting someone familiar from the opposite side of the family... after all  our great great grand parents, parents were from India,,, our Mother country.
A country in South Asia..

At the completion of the formalities, I received sterling round of applause, I knew now my job was done and my guests were satisfied...    It was time for dinner and yes before I could get my hands on Panner ( Cottage cheese drowning in a spicy gravy )and Roti, (Round flat bread) , I have had some  random guests approach me...

Handshakes, hugs and positive comments received from my performance..these guests where surly appreciative of what they had witnessed, a traditional master of ceremonies who had taken them back to the good old days of their lives to the current lives we live. What do I mean by this?

If you were born in a Hindu home, your mom or grand mom, used to make roti every singly day of the week.., or the other very true story "a bring and share at the beach,,", the day would start super early and in preparation for the day ahead, sandwiches or biryani was prepared , everyone to meet up at the beach and have a fun filled day  this does not happen much these days... it a simple quick fast food.

Coming back to the function ...Yes Yes Yes ... I finally manage to get my hands on the  delicious panner and roti, yummy... my nails turned yellow, my tummy was full .. SATISFIED!

What is the meaning of this blog, we take life for granted!! We never appreciate the finer things in life, people, walk into our life for reason, season or a life time... don"t just miss good opportunities.

In everyone's journey, there is so many ups and downs that one faces in life. Lies , betrayal, dishonesty and the list goes on... How does one over come all of this? What is the next turn to take?
(smile face) do you run? how far?

Life is never simple yet never easy, your family grows into to people unknown, family's emerge to the joining of other or another family. ... Gosh and the baggage of everyone continues... You get dragged into it....

How do you know what is right from wrong??? You never actually know... you just got to get ready to swim when the wave hits... Lol will you drown or will you make it through the waves.... time will only tell.

As much as many of us can preach ... do we practice what we preach? I was told many many times, from a senior person, whom I
have much respect and admiration for... she always said these words to me... " No one for no one" Funny how when life brings you situations, this saying comes into play.

Before taking the next step in your Life ... ask yourself. .. Are your ready?
